C\u2019est la raison pour laquelle dans la plupart des pays, ces comp\u00e9tences sont encourag\u00e9es dans la langue d\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation avant le d\u00e9but de la scolarisation formelle. Or, au Luxembourg, la langue d\u2019alphab\u00e9tisation, \u00e0 savoir l\u2019allemand, n\u2019est introduite qu\u2019au moment de l\u2019apprentissage de la langue \u00e9crite. Au Cycle 1, au niveau d\u2019enseignement pr\u00e9scolaire, la langue d\u2019enseignement est le luxembourgeois.
