Le bien-\u00eatre subjectif dans le domaine de l\u2019\u00e9ducation comprend le plaisir d\u2019aller \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole, les relations positives avec les enseignant\u00b7e\u00b7s et les pair\u00b7e\u00b7s, ainsi que le concept de soi acad\u00e9mique. Les syst\u00e8mes \u00e9ducatifs doivent r\u00e9pondre aux besoins \u00e0 la fois scolaires et sociaux des \u00e9l\u00e8ves, en veillant \u00e0 ce que <i>tou\u00b7te\u00b7s <\/i>les \u00e9l\u00e8ves puissent participer activement aux enseignements en tant que membres valoris\u00e9\u00b7e\u00b7s et \u00e0 part enti\u00e8re de la communaut\u00e9 scolaire. Des \u00e9tudes ant\u00e9rieures ont mis en \u00e9vidence des liens entre la participation sociale, les caract\u00e9ristiques d\u00e9mographiques et la r\u00e9ussite scolaire, montrant que les filles, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves obtenant de faibles r\u00e9sultats et ceux\u00b7celles issu\u00b7e\u00b7s de l\u2019immigration ou d\u2019un milieu socio-\u00e9conomique d\u00e9favoris\u00e9 rapportent en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral un bien-\u00eatre subjectif moins important que les autres.
